Warner Bros. Releases Trailer For Jack the Giant Slayer Trailer

Jack the Giant Slayer

It seems like one trailer for a movie based on Jack and the Beanstalk would be more than enough, but Warner Bros. thinks the world needs two trailers! Even better, here is a teaser for the second trailer… Because that’s how much this movie is going to blow you away. Jack and the Beanstalk… Yup! It’s going to blow you away!

Hopefully Mockingbird Lane and Jack the Giant Slayer isn’t the diarrhea before Bryan Singer’s big turd X-Men: Days of Future Past. Singer’s X-Men film is based on the Chris Claremont and John Byrne’s two issue comic book storyline published in 1981. The story involves an adult Kitty Pryde traveling back in time to stop a dystopian alternative future in which Sentinels rule the United States, and have imprisoned or killed all superheros. The story has potential to be a great film, but since the source material is so limited, it leaves a lot of room for Hollywood screenwriters to screw it all up.

Oh yeah…Jack the Giant Slayer! It took a lot of screenwriters and what looks like a lot of money to re-imagine Jack and the Beanstalk. The movie stars the zombie from Warm Bodies as Jack, Ewan McGregor, and the man with very creepy hands, Warrick Davis. Jack the Giant Slayer hits theaters on March 1 and the second trailer makes its big debut on Monday, February 11. If you are wondering what the film is about, it’s based on a true story.
