What do Children of the Corn 2 through 7 and Halloween 6 through 8 have in common? Nobody wants them, and that’s why they’re living comfortably together as a nine movie set in Walmart dump bins across the country. Echo Bridge has re-packaged the Children of the Corn sequels over 25 times (on both DVD and Blu-ray). Children of the Corn 666: Issac’s Return seems to be their favorite, it has been included in several sets including the 15-Film Man Cave Sci-Fi set, 8-Film Haunted Hallows set, just to name a few.
I finally broke down and bought the Children of the Corn / Halloween Collection for $7. I don’t know what made me buy the set. I already have several copies of Children of the Corn 2: The Final Sacrifice on several other Echo Bridge sets that I own, and I’m not interested in ever seeing Curse of Myers or Halloween: Resurrection ever again. You can also watch most of the Corn sequels for free on YouTube. It wasn’t a very smart investment, but I’m glad I decided to revisit the series. I realized I’ve never seen Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest, and it’s currently my favorite entry in the series.
So, I present to you a Children of the Corn III retrospective in pictures. You Won Corn!!!
